Saddleback Butte State Park - "no ice was sighted"

On the first Saturday afternoon of November we all drove to Saddleback Butte State Park.
The objective was about two miles away.

Our group of Explorers was eager to start hiking to the top of Saddleback Butte.
About 90 minutes later everyone was on the summit.

The sun had set by the time we all returned to camp.
A tradition that always creates excitement.
Dawn after a chilly night in the desert.
As the sun rose campers started to emerge from their tents.
I photographed Shanzay photographing Saddleback Butte.
The McHorney Motel.
Irelyn was excited to hear that breakfast was being served.
Our Four Wheel Camper.
Later we packed up camp and began the drive for home.
No ice was sighted on the route.
