Around Holcomb Valley, San Bernardino NF
Near Delamar Mountain on way to the Holcomb Valley
Relaxing near the John Bull Trail
On the way in to meet us at our camp one of our friends encountered some difficulty. Funny, because I said to my wife on the way to the camp that our friend would probably forget about the hole because it always freezes over with ice during the winter.
Headed back to pavement.
Back on pavement and preparing to drive home.

Heading into the Mojave Desert with a group of Explorers, East of Newberry Springs, CA February 2007
The start of a long day filled with adventure.
Making our way through the darkening desert to the campsite and a hike into the dunes.
Looking east from our camp at the Providence Mountains in the distance.
We were hit by a raging sand storm
west of Hinkley on the way home.
Spotted this rainbow north of Kramer Junction
