Quick trip through Death Valley NP
Harry Wade Road looking north
A short history of Rhodes Springs.
Rhodes Springs Cabin
This is why I usually carry two spare tires when traveling alone and turn around after the first unrepairable flat but fortunately two other vehicles with along on with me on this trip. The flat is my spare and we are five miles from Teakettle Junction.
For those in the know, not exactly close to tire service on a Sunday morning. (Revert's 24Hr Tires in Beatty, NV is the answer)
Teakettle Junction and rolling again.
Lost Burro Mine, HIdden Valley
Lost Burro Cabin from the mill.
A closer look
The Hunter Mountain Cabin
On previous treks I had always driven by but this time stopped to visit.

Sierra Nevada from Harkless Flat, Inyo NF, CA
How long has it been parked?
My aunt had the same type of lamps but these ended up as claim markers. Why only one boot?
Just one of many pieces of equipment at this site.
